Principles of teaching your son to read and write?!

Children are born with a curiosity about things around them, and they try to express their feelings and behaviors through many means.

Children are born with a curiosity about things around them, and they try to express their feelings and behaviors through many means, including trying to pronounce simple words, and from here comes the role of parents in teaching their children how to speak easily by training them to read and write, because of this has a positive impact on them benefit.
There are a number of ways that help teach our children to read and write, and make them get used to it, in order to contribute to the development of their culture and their ability to think positively.
So today we are dealing with an important topic, which is how do you teach your son to read and write? This topic revolves around three axes.
The first axis: What is the reason that prompted us to teach our children to read and write?
The second axis: What are the most important principles and laws that we will follow?
The third axis: What are the most important steps in establishing your son to teach reading?
During our research in the first axis, “What is the reason that prompted us to teach our children to read and write?”
We have seen that it is necessary to direct and educate the nannies (mother, teacher, father) in order to clarify the detailed points in the steps of teaching children step by step, so that they are applied to the son or the student so that they do not all fall into mistakes.
As for the second axis, “What are the most important principles and laws for your child’s education?”
Because not understanding it will make you make a big mistake, which is the first principle: urgency is destructive, for example, many parents and teachers aim to teach the child to read and write within two or three months and quickly, so they make a big mistake during education, which is to put pressure on the child in order to He learns quickly, for a child at the age of four or five years does not know how to read and write, which is difficult for parents and annoys them, so they begin to pressure him and hurry a lot, so I say to them: urgency is destructive. It is not useful to move to a later step without mastering the previous step, and this is what brings us to the second principle: mastery first, there is a rule that we must realize: (It is forbidden to move before mastery).
We mentioned in the first principle: that urgency is destructive, so we must start teaching our child two letters on a daily basis for an average period of no more than an hour with the child. Another at all without mastering it. We don’t have a syllabus to finish. For example: I don’t go into the modal and the child has a problem with threes.
The third principle: It is the most important principle for our children at all, which is studying in general (the general atmosphere). We always say that the general atmosphere of the study process is more important than the process of studying and learning itself. To encourage himself to learn, unfortunately many parents, and many teachers and teachers create a bad general atmosphere that leads to hatred and alienation of the child from learning. But the most important question is what is the general atmosphere of encouragement?
For example, we are supposed to play with the child before and after the lesson, or in the middle of it so that the study hour is positively connected to his mind, that is, this is the time of fun so that he feels joy and takes away from him the difficulty and fear, and unfortunately many parents and teachers formulate a bad general atmosphere that leads to hatred and alienation. The child from learning in general, and also from the types of stimulation that we bring with us to the child things he loves, such as some fruits and sweets. City of Games”, in addition to praise, reinforcement and words of encouragement, thanks and praise such as “Well done, you are good,….”
Also, the educator (mother, father, teacher) must stay away from nervousness and beating because the child’s mind will be closed from education and will not be able to pronounce it well and correctly, so nervousness will not work and will not benefit, the child’s feeling of comfort and lack of anxiety makes him learn, master, accomplish and create.
And the fourth principle: is to rely on sounds and not letters – and this is an important and lengthy research and its details will come later – because the idea of sounds is important, as it is:
• It saves the child a lot of effort
• Because the sounds are used more on the ground.
• Because the sounds give a quick result, and this stimulates the continuation of the mother and the child, because the traditional method does not work.

As for the third axis: What are the most important steps in establishing your son to teach reading and writing?
There is an important point, which is how to teach your child to read? If the father or the teacher mastered this point well, he would have been able to establish his son from a young age correctly and gradually, and it would also save him a very great time and effort, because if the son was not properly established from a young age at the age of (4-5) years, he would continue to suffer throughout his life from a problem In reading and writing, this suffering will accompany him even if we put the best teachers for him. The most important of these steps are:
First, it must be established from an early age.
Secondly, this foundation must be correct.
Third: The establishment should be gradual.
These three steps (establishing from childhood, correctly, gradually) are very important, but the most important question is how to be a correct foundation?
Focus with me in the first step: I do not teach him the letters with the well-known names (A-B-T-TH), as there is nothing A, B, T, and Tha, you have to cancel these names because they are not used, for example: When a child pronounces (A) he says (A). ) And when he pronounces (B), he says (Ba) and he does not say B, and he pronounces (Ta) instead of ta, (A, Ba, Ta) instead of A, B and T.
It depends on the sounds, so the first letter he notices is Alif and above it is a slot (A) the letters in the movement of the fatha, and he does not know Alif and above it a hole, but rather (a) as he pronounced it, and he does not know (b) and above it is a hole, but knows its name (Ba) as it is pronounced exactly as it is pronounced, and thus masters it. All letters in the Fatah movement.
And the second step: he begins to take open triple words (verbs) such as (write, read, draw) as long as he took the open letters (ka, t, b) thus he will take triple open verbs because he finished the open letters and mastered them, so open letters and then open words (Synthesize words), after he masters this step, we start the third step and give him the letters with the fractional movement (a, b, t) and so on… Then we give him triple proverbs that have a hole and a crumb like (samaa). The child studied the open seine, the broken meme and the open eye, and thus He can master words or triple verbs with the movement of the fraction, and therefore the steps are as follows:
The first step: letters with conquest.
The second step: Words of Conquest.
Step Three: Fractional letters or words.
Step Four: Words by opening and breaking.
Fifth step: Addition letters.
The sixth step: the letters with fath, damm, and kasr, such as: stole, eaten, taken.
So, these are six steps, if your son can learn them with this simplicity and gradation, he will understand, absorb and establish correctly. But if you give him the letters as they exist (a, b, t, th), for example, the alif with its three sounds (a, a, e) as it is the ba (b, b, b) at once in the beginning of the word, in the middle and at the end of the word, the child will be dispersed and will not He can understand completely, while if you rely on simplification and gradation, the result will be completely different.
Thus, we have finished the first stage, then we move to the second stage, which is concerned with the tide. We have the tide with the thousand and he studies it in a detailed research alone, then he trains on words on it, then the tide with ya, then the tide with the waw and is trained on it, and then he moves to the third stage and takes the child from it Intensity and intention, and he begins to practice extensively, if we follow this method, we will see it very effective, within one year your son can master reading and writing, and as we mentioned this method depends on simplification and gradualness, and otherwise your son will not be able to comprehend anything and, God willing, if you rely on it In teaching your child you will find very high results.
God grants success.
